Skyline Nav AI, Inc.
Pathfinder: GPS-Independent Software
Determining precise location is extremely challenging when GPS, cellular, and Wi-Fi signals are unavailable, unreliable, or jammed.
Why it mattersAt Skyline Nav AI, we have built a GPS-independent precise navigation solution for ground vehicles, drones, boats and aircraft. Our product, Skyline Match AI™️, harnesses the power of computer vision algorithms and reference datasets to navigate and position effectively without relying on GPS, cellular, or Wi-Fi. Skyline Match AI™️ can localize you within 5 meters, 95% of the time, with no GPS, cellular or Wi-Fi connectivity on land, air and sea. Serving both commercial and military needs, Skyline Match AI™️ ensures you stay on course by capturing what is around you to geolocate and to fill in the gaps when GPS fails. Our customers and partners include the US Air Force, NASA, US Army, BAE Systems, Kearfott Corporation, Draper Labs, MIT, Cornell University, NGA, MassChallenge, Move America, CDL, FedTech, DCode, NSF and others. We are an 100% employee-owned and operated American company.
About
Problem
Loss of GPS or signal makes precise, real-time positioning for vehicles or devices impossible in mission-critical operations.
Solution
Pathfinder delivers meter-level absolute position using computer vision and precomputed satellite data, no GPS needed. In areas with no discernible terrain features, Pathfinder leverages visual odometry and IMU for temporary relative localization until Pathfinder can recognize discernible terrain features.
Field Validation
Tested with the US Air Force, NASA, Army, BAE Systems, Kearfott, Isuzu; tested in 40+ global regions and live commercial/military projects. Technology Maturity (TRL): TRL 7; multiple field trials, real-world deployments with often centimeter accuracy and commercial programs.
Strategic Advantage
Proprietary algorithms, global dataset integration, sensor-agnostic fusion, extensive field testing, and rapid deployment pipeline.
Go-to-Market
Access: Secured contracts via AFWERX, NASA, direct sales to primes (BAE Systems, Kearfott), and commercial customers (e.g. Isuzu). Dual-Use: Potential: Used in defense, logistics, fleet, disaster response, autonomous mobility, aerospace, and AI safety across industries.
Team
Founder: Kanwar Singh (CEO & Army Captain), Dr. Rajeev Surati (R&D, ex-MIT), team from Harvard, Microsoft, Fidelity & other organizations.
Primary User
Pilots, drone operators, fleet leads, JTACs, vehicle operators, and logistics coordinators.
